NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Colts and contract-year QB Andrew Luck are working on a “blockbuster” extension.

Owner Jim Irsay has previously said the new deal will be “shocking.” Per RapSheet, Irsay initially wanted to offer Luck a 10-year deal to keep him in Indy for the long haul, but the two sides have since began talking five- and six-year pacts that will make Luck the highest-paid player in the game. Even with Luck missing eight games last season, he’s expected to net at least $25 million annually. Jun 8 – 12:53 PM
