According to 9News Denver’s Mike Klis, the Broncos are expected to “at least discuss” pursuing Tony Romo if the Cowboys release him.

GM John Elway continues to insist the Broncos are fine moving forward with Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch at quarterback, but nobody’s buying it. Romo has listed Denver as one of his preferred landing spots and he’d be a near-perfect fit as a one or two-year bridge to Lynch, who profiles as the Broncos’ future franchise quarterback. Notably, Klis mentions that Denver would have interest if Romo is released, failing to mention if the Broncos would consider a trade for him. Feb 26 – 1:01 PM
